Help Juno fight childhood cancer
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is to support our brother Jeffrey and his family.
In December 2023, Jeffrey and Jenny received the tragic news that their two year old daughter, Juno, has cancer — acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Additionally, one month later Jenny gave birth to their son, Jax. The changes in their lives have been rapid and unimaginable.
Leukemia is a complex and aggressive form of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. Juno’s journey to become cancer-free will be roughly 3 years long. Treatment includes oral and IV chemotherapy, steroids, lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, surgery, blood transfusions, PT/OT, and multiple hospitalizations. Since December Juno has been hospitalized for a total of 42 days. Due to this extensive and overwhelming situation Jeffrey will stop working and remain home to care for Juno and Jax.
Our niece Juno is a vibrant, silly and energetic 2 year old who brings joy to everyone that she meets. Seeing her go through treatment has been heartbreaking as it has robbed her of her childhood. Her weeks used to be filled with fun at the gym or playdates with her friends. Now outings consist of appointments and office visits. Juno is strong and resilient though. Somehow she still finds a way to put a smile on her face everyday. We are hopeful that Juno will become cancer-free one day and continue to grow up healthy and happy.
Since Juno’s diagnosis family and friends have asked what can be done to help. There have been so many kind people who have sent toys, books, snacks, clothes, and other gifts- some of which the family just cannot accept due to the state of Juno’s health. For example, Juno has allergies to certain foods like eggs and milk. Also, due to her poor immune system the family cannot receive live items such as plants or flowers. Therefore, this page is to provide an avenue for people to help ease any financial burdens on the family and allow Jenny and Jeffrey to focus on helping Juno battle cancer.

From Jeffrey and Jenny: “We are deeply touched by our community for your outpour of support. We enjoy reading your uplifting messages and feel your love. No parent ever expects to see their kid fight for a second chance at life. Thank you for helping Juno through this battle and for supporting us.”
