My name is Kriston Hicks and my dog's name is Juno Hicks. She's 10 years old and I've had her since she was a baby at about 7 weeks old.

During the Hurricane Helene flooding, I thought my Juno was lost to me when the flooding happened in our home.

She was rescued and returned to me.

After a dental visit to her regular vet and a biopsy was done, the cancer was found and diagnosed. We just made the 2-hour trip today and were told surgery is her best option.
