We rescued our cat Juniper in January of 2023, after finding her shivering in the snow on our driveway. She’s three years old, full of life, and brings so much joy to our home. Juniper loves to play, nap in her cat tree, and watch squirrels from the window. She is our first pet together, and she truly feels like a child to us.

Today, we received heartbreaking news: Juniper has stomatitis, a painful condition where her immune system attacks the bacteria from plaque on her teeth. The vet says she needs oral surgery to remove her teeth, which will allow her to eat normally again and prevent further tissue damage. Without this surgery, Juniper will continue to suffer in pain.

Unfortunately, I lost my job in November, and we are currently surviving on my husband’s income as a graphic designer at a local family-owned funeral home. We are barely making rent and struggling to cover basic expenses, let alone the cost of Juniper’s surgery. Any support for Juniper’s surgery would mean the world to us.
