Juniper is my 10-year-old rescue cat and my best friend. She came into my life after our neighbor, who originally rescued her, became unable to care for her. My family took her in, and although she still has a bit of her feral side, Juniper is a loving, playful tortoiseshell cat. Torties are known for having behavioral and health issues, and Juniper is no exception. She loves to shove her head into my hand and act silly, and I cherish every moment watching her chase lasers and cuddle with me.

Recently, Juniper needed two emergency care visits, which left me in debt from her medical bills. Despite those visits, she's still not better and needs ongoing care to get healthy again. I've been out of work for a few years and struggling to get interviews, so covering her medical expenses has become impossible on my own. I suffer from major depressive disorder and agoraphopbia, so Juniper means everything to me—she's my companion and my comfort. We're both a bit of a mess, but together, we're a pair of loveable oddballs.

I'm afraid that without financial support, I may have to surrender Juniper so she can live a happy and healthy life. While I'm prepared to do whatever is best for her, the thought of losing my best friend is heartbreaking. I'm asking for help to pay off the debt I've taken on to care for Juniper and give her the chance to get healthy and stay with me.
