Hello, my name is Tiffany Wigsmoen, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend and landscaper, Junior, and his family.
Yesterday, tragedy struck our Oswego community when a brutal stabbing occurred at Chick-fil-A. Junior was one of the victims — attacked from behind in an unthinkable act of violence. Despite being severely injured, he somehow found the strength and courage to help hold the attacker down until police arrived, with the help of his mother, likely preventing even more lives from being lost that day.
Junior and his family are beloved members of our community. They own a local maintenance company and have spent years helping countless families and businesses with all types of jobs — from landscaping to repairs. Personally, Junior has worked on my property and I can honestly say he and his family are among the most hardworking, honest, and kind-hearted people you could ever meet.
Now, Junior faces a long recovery ahead. Between medical bills, time away from work, and the emotional impact of this horrific event, his family will need the community’s support more than ever.
This fundraiser is my way of giving back to someone who has always shown up for others. Let’s come together to help Junior and his family heal — physically, emotionally, and financially — and to remind his family that Oswego takes care of its own.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word. Every bit of support helps and shows this family that their community stands behind them.
❤️ Let’s rally for Junior and his brave Mom— true local hero's who needs us now.
