Update
On 3/14/22 Junior had his appointment with the Bloom Animal Hospital. They took several samples of his skin on different spots on his body and found he is covered in bacterial infections. This is nothing new to me. What was new to me is their approach to the problem. Instead of prescribing him more pills we got topical medication. No more steroids and antibiotics. We'll have to do baths every day now with a special shampoo. Unfortunately Junior's skin is in terrible condition and they weren't able to do a skin allergy test with him. Instead they took his blood, which will at least give clarity about his environmental allergies (not his food allergies). In about a month we will get the results and a serum specifically for his outside allergies that will have to be injected regularly.
Monday's Vet visited costed 1,880.50$
We'll need to see our local Vet in 7-10days to make sure his infections are healing without the steroids and antibiotics. Estimated cost 200$
Next visit at Bloom Animal Hospital will be estimated 450$ for a 3 months supply of injections and 190$ for walking into the vet's office/exam (not sure if more tests will be done)

Hi, my name is Natty, and I have the pleasure of spoiling Junior for the time he gets to be on this planet. Many of you know he has been struggling with allergies since he was two years old. Over time his symptoms got progressively worst. No matter what I tried over the last 5 years, from home remedies over holistic approaches, to standard veterinary medicine, nothing has helped. We are at a point where he relies on steroids and antibiotics or otherwise he gets oozing blisters all over his back and toes. He is losing his hair where blisters pop open and he is in discomfort, constantly licking his infected wounds.
Multiple vets have referred us to MSU vet dermatology. Getting an appointment with them is seemingly impossible, so I researched where I can find the same dermatologists outside of MSU and sure enough found their office. They booked Junior for July! Better late, than never but this would have given me time to save up 1.300$ somehow! Unexpectedly Bloom Animal Hospital called to see if I can fill in for a cancellation on March 7th! I didn't even think twice about the vet bill and agreed to the appointment so Junior can get allergy testing done sooner than later! I'm a hard-working individual and just bought a house which I completely rehabbed. It drained my finances and I'm not able to pay for this appointment coming up as of right now. My hope with this appointment is that they will develop a serum for Junior, based on his testing, that he will have to get injected on a regular basis! This would be much healthier and more affordable long-term, than the allergy meds, steroids, antibiotics and prescription food he has to be on right now (and don't even work). The money I'm trying to raise will cover the exam, the allergy testing and the first supply of serum.
