Help Junior and Ray!

Hello! My name is Brigit and I am raising funds for one of our dear doggy park friends, Junior, and his human, Rayner Madrigal. Ray is well known at Campbell Park in Toronto as a gentle, well-liked “dog whisperer”.  Always a modest guy, not few people know that he played baseball at a high level back in Cuba and often can be found at Campbell park practising his throws, training local kids, or walking neighbourhood dogs. Six months ago, Ray finally acquired his own dog, Junior, a magnificent pup of mixed breed. Then, three days ago, suddenly, there was a moment - a moment that could happen to any of us - of a leash, an excited puppy, and a tumble, and Junior’s leg was broken. It is casted now, but will require surgery - a surgery that Ray cannot afford at this time after these tough pandemic years.  We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Junior’s vet fees (at the moment quotes between $5000 and $9000!!).
