Ya'at'ééh! Hello! my name is Joi "Junebug" Lynch, I am 18 years old, I am full-blooded Navajo, and was born in Fort Defiance, Arizona, and I am currently in my freshman year at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. I chose this school because of the population of Native American students and I also plan to major in Business and minor in Native American and Indigenous Studies, which FLC offers both. My overall goal from my education is to one day own a non-profit that is run by Indigenous women and is for Indigenous women.
A great deal of my tuition has been paid off already by scholarships from non-profits I worked with before, for being a first generation student and many more, but I am short about $1,000 for this semester and $1,000 for next semester and cannot register for next semester's classes until I pay off this semester's. 
I love learning, and especially love learning about my people while being surrounded by my people who give me strength everyday. I would be incredibly grateful if you helped me gain the opportunity to continue my education at the Fort! Ahéhee'! Thank you!
