For years, I have lived in the PNW, where I rent a basement room in the suburbs, but without access to a car—relying entirely on public transit and roommates when I need to get around. This has limited what is possible for me, independently, for quite some time, and I'm looking to change this—a change which would have a tremendously positive effect on the quality of my life.

I have gained access to a car, but there is a procedure I need to go through before I am able to actually start driving it. Namely: the transfer fees and various repairs so I can get it to pass inspection. Money is pretty tight for me, and eating all these costs right now just isn't something I can do.

I want to take my life to the stage where I'm able to transport myself around, choosing for myself where to go, and when I do it. But I need your help to make this possible for me.

Any excess amount will be used for expenses I need past this—such as car insurance and gasoline.
