Help June Mepham Fight Severe Brain Swelling
Hi, my name is Jonathan Mepham, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart as our family faces the hardest battle we've ever known.
Our sweet, joyful daughter, June, was recently struck by a devastating medical crisis. What started as a simple virus — the same one that hospitalized our son Joseph with pneumonia — turned into something much more serious for June. Her immune system responded aggressively, leading to a rare and terrifying condition called Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), causing severe swelling in her brain.
June is now fighting for her life in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Marshfield Hospital. She is currently paralyzed and unable to speak — trapped inside her body while the swelling continues to put unimaginable pressure on her young brain.
We are heartbroken. We miss her bright smile, her sweet voice, and her endless energy. Every minute feels like a lifetime as we pray and hope for signs of healing.
We are asking for your help. The road ahead for June will be long and uncertain — filled with mounting medical bills, ongoing therapies, and the need for specialized care. Any support you can offer, whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply by sharing June’s story, would mean more than we could ever express.
Please stand with us as we fight alongside our little girl. June is strong, but she needs all of us to be strong for her now.
Thank you for being part of her fight. Thank you for believing in miracles with us.
