I’m Jun, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself as I go through daily dialysis because of kidney failure. I have also been immunocompromised for most of my life, but I continued working and helping others as a home health physical therapist in California for as long as I could. On top of dialysis, I’m now also dealing with cardiac issues, which has made this already difficult time even more overwhelming. Between the physical toll of treatment, the stress of ongoing medical care, and the limits this has placed on my ability to work, my life has been turned upside down. I’m doing my best to get through each day, focus on my health, and keep up with the basic needs and responsibilities that do not stop when you are sick.

To make things harder, my disability claim was denied, leaving me without the support I was hoping would help me get through this period. The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover essential expenses like rent, bills, medical procedures, tests, and copays. It will also help me care for my dog, Koji, who means so much to me and depends on me every day. I’m asking for assistance until I can go back to work again.
