Help Jumpstart Kimmer’s Music Journey

Kimmer Music is headed to Nashville in less than 2 weeks!! I have raised enough for an overnight stay, but still got a couple hurdles to jump through. I’m going regardless, but it hitting my goal will make things more pleasant.  A HUGE thank you to those of you who are following the journey, have backed me here and continue to believe in my music!! It means a lot to me. The plan is to make it into the Bluebird Cafe slot for open mic night on Monday the 28th! The list does not open till that morning and then it’s a contest to see who gets to perform that night. This is ALOT, but I’m here for it. Those who perform, according to the rules, have to play 2 original songs and have the ability to use the house instruments as a courtesy. I will be performing 2 of mine on my Ibanez guitar, songs of which will be revealed on Monday!! I will be mapping out my journey starting right after Easter so that everyone can see the prep that goes into getting ready for gigs, trips, even if for just 1 song. I cannot thank the few here, family and friends,  that have gotten me to the halfway mark! You’re legit making this happen!! Nashville, here I come!!!

1st Update!!! Hey guys, we are halfway there!! Thank you so much to all of the patrons that have supported my music here and in other places, and have shared my GoFundMe with others. It has really meant a lot. Just a couple of things, the North Carolina trip was canceled due to me not acquiring the amount of funds needed for the trip. But I am still in the process of planning my Nashville trip. Details to come!

Hey guys my name is Kimmer! I write, produce and perform folk style music, which include worship, indie. Folk music is a huge part of my soul, passed down from generations to my parents and then to me. It is the epitome of my heartbeat and a song from me to Jesus. Watching people enjoy my music in many places(one day around the world), whether in stage, of over the airwaves keeps me motivated.

I am currently on open mic stages , private and public events and have a couple of unique opportunities to play on a broader stage : 1. competition stage in NC and 2. travel across state lines to hopefully play at the Bluebird Cafe in Tennessee 3. And other small events already on the calendar.

In order for me to accomplish these dreams, I really need your help. The expenses of travel, lodging and food will exceed what I am able to afford. My music journey has not been easy, but I enjoy what I do even if the return is just to make someone’s day. I really would like to go and participate in these particular events and others in the future. This is the first step to getting my music out there and anything you donate, big, or small will be much appreciated! Here’s to the music and I thank you in advance!
