OUR JOURNEY & FINAL STEP TO OPENING
After 3 years of dedicated work and investment, Jump Start Academy is on the verge of opening our doors to provide much-needed inclusive childcare in our community. We've completed extensive facility preparations and are now facing our final hurdle: essential plumbing repairs needed to pass our final inspection and welcome our first families.
WHAT WE'VE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED
Over the past three years, we've transformed our facility with:
- Completed flooring renovations
- Addition of a new classroom to serve more families
- Installation of a concrete riding path in our playground
- Rebuilding of exterior steps and installation of an accessible handicap ramp
- Updates to all appliances
- Full compliance with classroom materials and equipment standards
THE FINAL PIECE: CRITICAL PLUMBING REPAIRS
We need to raise $5,300 to complete required plumbing repairs by mid April 2025. This is our last major requirement before we can receive final approval to open our doors in August 2025. Your contribution will directly help us cross this final finish line.
