Support Julius: Legal Help to Save Home & Start Over

We’re reaching out for our friend Julius, who’s in a tough spot and needs some help.

In 2023, Julius was laid off from Meta. He used his severance, savings, and 401k to try day trading but ended up losing it all by the end of 2024.

Now he’s $90K in credit card debt, owes $50K to friends and family, and his home, which he co-owns with his partner, is at risk of being taken by creditors. Julius has recently been served to appear in court within 25 days. Filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy is his only real option.

To file, he needs a lawyer, but the $3,500 legal fee is out of reach. He’s driving Uber every day and looking for work but can’t come up with the money.

We’re trying to raise $3,500 for legal fees and $2,500 to cover one month’s rent to keep the wolf at the door. Every dollar will go toward preventing things from getting worse. Anything extra will help with bills and relief.
