Help Julius Overcome Health Challenges

On August 29th, things changed for us. We were getting ready to have company. We went to grab water from the garage. Julius stepped into the garage and froze. He couldn’t form thoughts and was confused. He started slurring his speech. I grabbed him and guided him to the dining room. Called the ambulance, and we went to the hospital. They sent him home three hours later after they cleared him for a stroke. Two days later, he woke up at 5 am and couldn’t feel his legs. I rushed him to the hospital myself. He was admitted. During this time, he was having trouble with numbness in the face, forehead, cheek, and his hands and feet. They ran numerous tests on him, keeping him for four days. Mind you, all this while I had just started a new career path on August 26. He was discharged four days later and told to follow up with his primary. They keep sending him home not knowing what is the actual cause of all this. Through the whole month of September, we had been to the hospital five times, and he was admitted multiple times, racking up medical bills. We went as far as seeing medical doctors on Long Island trying to get answers as to what is wrong. We bring all of his medical records with us, and immediately they tell us he has had an aneurysm. They need to see how bad. So they set him up for a cerebral angiogram. The results came back from that. He did, in fact, have an aneurysm, but it is too small for them to fix because they don’t want to cause a stroke in him. Since he has had the angiogram, he has been having chest issues where he feels like it’s almost a heart attack. He has been back to the hospital for that. They don’t know why he is having all these issues. So with us going back and forth to the doctors, I am calling out so much from work to help him. Due to his weakness and his underlying condition, I am home trying to help with all appointments. He isn’t allowed to drive; he ends up with seizure-like symptoms. Driving back and forth to NY to see medical staff there, we are struggling to keep up with the bills. Please, anything will help. I am just trying to make all ends meet, but with me missing out on work to help him, we are struggling. Thank you in advance.
