Hi, my name is Kendall, and I’m the proud parent of a strong, resilient little boy named Julius.

Julius entered this world far earlier than expected. He was born at just 27 weeks, and his first months of life were spent fighting for survival in the NICU. For six long months, he endured more than most adults ever will surrounded by machines, procedures, and constant uncertainty. But even then, Julius showed us how strong he is.

When Julius was one year old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects his muscle control and mobility. Since then, his life has been filled with therapy appointments, medical visits, and daily challenges that most children his age don’t face but he continues to face them with courage and determination.

As Julius grows, so do his mobility needs. His medical team has recommended a custom wheelchair (and/or walker) designed specifically for his body and condition. This equipment is not optional it’s essential. A properly fitted wheelchair will help support his posture, reduce pain, prevent further complications, and allow him greater independence in his daily life.

Unfortunately, specialized mobility equipment is extremely expensive. Even with insurance, many critical features are not fully covered, leaving families like ours responsible for a large portion of the cost. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Julius’s custom wheelchair so he can move safely, comfortably, and confidently.
