My name is Julissa Weeks; I am a junior at Chaparral High School in Killeen Tx and I’ve been nominated to represent my school at the National Youth Leadership Forum: Law and CSI at George Mason University, Washington, D.C. I am ranked 19th in my class, a member of the National Honors Society, a varsity basketball player, a member of my school's varsity wind ensemble band, and a member of the Chick-fil-A leader academy. By doing this program, I will gain leadership skills and learn more about crime scene investigation. In addition, attending this program will give me an inside view of crime scene investigation and help me cement my plan of majoring in criminal justice.

Attending the National Leadership Forum at George Mason University is an excellent opportunity to learn more about law and criminal justice, which is why I am writing to you.
