Hello hello my dear family, friends, and whoever may be reading this! I am so thankful you took time out of your undoubtedly busy day to read this! I appreciate it more than you know.
My name is Juliette Noel and I am a freshman in college at Franciscan University. I am currently studying psychology, and I enjoy playing piano, painting, laughing, and having heartfelt conversations with just about anyone. I'd love to have one with you sometime! Anyways, you're probably wondering what all this is about, so let me explain!
Over the last few years, I have felt the Lord place a desire on my heart for mission. Mission for me, however, doesn't necessarily mean jumping on an airplane and heading to Africa (although you never know...haha), it's about how I can let God work through me to make a difference in the lives of those directly around me. I am so blessed to have had many people throughout my life who have led me closer to Christ, and who have made known to me His love for me and His desire for a personal relationship with me. Developing a personal relationship with Christ changed my life, and it is now my desire to make known to others His love for them. For many months, I have been praying with the Scripture passage from Matthew 28 –The Great Commission. The word "commission" comes from the Latin commissio, which means "send with." In this passage, Jesus literally sends His disciples out together on a mission–to spread the message of His love to the world.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. . .teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”
Jesus commissions us–sends us out–on a mission that will radically change the world. He desires that everyone come to know Him and His infinite love, and my hope is that I can aid in this mission. However, Jesus does not leave us alone in this mission. As I mentioned before, the word commissio means to "send with." Jesus Himself is with me on this mission to illuminate the world with His love. As He says in Matthew 28, He is with me always. All of the fruits of my mission are for Him, but without Him, I can not even plant a single seed.
All that being said, over the past many months, I have been given many opportunities to spread Christ's love to teenagers. Last summer, I was honored to serve as a missionary at Camp DeSales, a Catholic youth summer camp in Brooklyn, MI. It is with great joy that I announce I will once again be ministering there this summer! The Lord really does fulfill the deepest desires of our hearts!
This sounds great, Juliette, but what will you even be doing at Camp DeSales?
Great question! Throughout the month of July, along with the other missionaries at Camp DeSales, I will be leading small groups of high schoolers, organizing games and skits, participating in prayer teams and Adoration, and so much more! At Camp DeSales, we have a focus on relational ministry. This means that most of what I do is simply having genuine conversations with the teens and being an authentic witness of what it means to live a life for Christ. The world offers so much empty happiness, and now, more than ever, what it needs is the revitalizing purpose that comes from a personal relationship with Christ.
Okay, that sounds awesome, but where do I come into this story?
Thanks for asking!! In order to complete this amazing mission which the Lord has called me to, I need your help. For me to be able to share Christ's message of love with teens this summer, I need financial support. My request to you would be to please, please consider helping me in this way. Any contribution, no matter how big or how small, is much much appreciated by me and my family! My goal is to raise 2,000 dollars, and with your help, I will be able to achieve this goal!

After you have met Jesus Christ, your life will never be the same. You will have experienced His love so strongly that you will say with the Aposltes, "for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard" (Acts 4:20). The Lord has worked miracles in my life (ask me about them sometime!!), and I cannot help but share His wondrous love with others. I am excited to let Him work through me this summer! But I cannot do it alone. I need your help and your prayers as I move into this summer. Know that I am praying for you all, and I am deeply grateful for you!
