My name is Juliet, and I’m reaching out for support for myself, my younger brother, and our two sweet cats, Toulouse and Louie. Over the past year, I’ve been in and out of residential treatment and intensive day therapy as I battle an ongoing eating disorder. My brother and I were both recently removed from parental insurance, which has left us with overwhelming medical bills and no coverage. Because of these challenges, I haven’t been able to keep a job since August 2025, despite my experience in patient care and as a phlebotomist. I’ve applied everywhere I can, but nothing has worked out so far. My brother is only able to get part-time hours at his job, and he is also struggling to afford his HRT and equally extensive medical bills. We’re living off his paychecks and trying to make ends meet.

On top of rent and medical bills, I had to get our cats neutered this fall, which made a huge dent in my savings. Now, it’s a struggle to afford groceries, kitty litter, and food for all of us. We’re even looking into SNAP benefits to help with groceries, but right now, things are very tight. I’m asking for help to cover rent, pay off medical debt, and keep us afloat until I can find work and get a few paychecks under my belt.
