Today, our lives changed in an instant. My name is Julie Reyes, and today my family and I lost our home in the Lowell fire—the house I grew up in, the place where so many of our memories were made. Everything we’ve known, everything we’ve built over the years, is suddenly gone. I have three siblings, and our mom and stepdad worked so hard to give us a life filled with love and stability. We were never rich, but we always had enough, and that meant everything to us.
Right now, we’re holding onto what matters most—we made it out safely, and we still have each other. But starting over from nothing is overwhelming. If you’re able to help in any way, no matter how small, we would be deeply grateful. Your support will help us begin rebuilding our lives during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts. —Julie Reyes
