Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
With heavy hearts, we are reaching out for support for our beloved Julie as she fights an incredibly tough battle with Stage 4 sarcoma colon cancer. Since her diagnosis on September 16, 2024, she has faced challenge after challenge. By November 2024, the cancer had spread to her liver. She was supposed to begin chemotherapy after the holidays, but complications led to the need for colon surgery in late December 2024.
Julie was admitted to the hospital on January 16, 2025, and by January 25, 2025, doctors discovered that the tumor growth had caused a hole in her valve, leading to a severe infection. On February 14, 2025, she underwent emergency surgery due to the infection, and shortly after, she received the devastating news that her time left with us is limited.
Julie is a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who has always put others before herself. Now, as she faces this incredibly difficult journey, we want to ensure she can spend her remaining time surrounded by love and without the stress of financial burdens.
Julie's children have put their lives on hold to be by her side, making sure she feels as much love and comfort as possible. Julie's biggest wish is to know that her children will not struggle when she is gone. Her children pray and wish they can give their mother the proper burial she deserves when the time comes. Unfortunately, Julie does not have life insurance as this is something that happened so quickly in the blink of an eye. We want to help fulfill that wish by easing the financial burden on her family, covering medical expenses, daily needs, and the inevitable funeral costs. Every contribution will help ensure that Julie can rest peacefully.
Any donation, big or small, will help make this difficult time a little less overwhelming for Julie and her family. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Julie and her loved ones in your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, love, and support during this heartbreaking time. It means the world to us.
With love and gratitude,
Heather Garr
