Hi everyone, my name is Julien. A few days ago, I was in an accident while riding a motorized scooter. I lost control, fell pretty hard, and ended up breaking my wrist. What I hoped would just be a quick trip to the ER has turned into follow-up visits, surgery, and a metal plate implanted into my forearm.

I’m incredibly grateful that the injury wasn’t worse, but the reality of living in the Land of the Free is the right to bear hospital bills. Without proper coverage, the cost of the surgery, hospital stay, and ongoing treatment is far more than I can manage on my own. On top of that, I haven’t been able to work much while recovering, which has made things even tougher financially.
