Help Julie Smile Again After Dental Trauma

On July 19th I received a call that Julie was hit in the face with a rock by another little girl and Julie was missing her tooth. Rushing up to Pollock Pines, not knowing what happened completely or how hurt my daughter was, was one of the worse feelings no one should ever go through. Once I got to Julie, all I could see was blood and my baby girl crying in pain. We were able to get into an Emergency Dental office at 9:30pm. Where they were able to take some x-rays and photos. Unfortunately due to the serve damage of the blunt force trauma from the rock the size of grapefruit hitting her in the face, the dentist wasn’t able to save Julie’s front tooth. They had to do an emergency extraction and add bone grafting so in the future Julie can get an implant to replace her now missing tooth. Due to Julie’s age though and her skull is still growing, getting an implant right away it’s an option. We have to wait for healing of the fractures and her bone to fuse back together. So for now we had to get a flipper/partial for Julie to wear so she has something in the place of her missing tooth. Julie has a very long road before she’s completely recovered from this horrible act of meanness, which will then continue for the rest of her life having to keep maintenance on her tooth. On top of Julie losing her front tooth, she also has a large chipped tooth next to her front tooth that needs to be fixed as well. This one act of a child being mean and vicious, will cost my daughter a life time of care.

We are asking for anyone that can help, please do. Julie’s dental treatment bill is getting pretty high. We’ve already have paid almost $2000 for the after hours call, emergency treatments, and her partial. But unfortunately that’s not even a dent of what more we have to pay of $6000 additional to fix her mouth.

Please help our beautiful, loving, kind hearted baby girl smile again.. Schools starting and she has to go wearing a partial to cover the trauma another child did to her!
