Help Julie, Shai, Mia, and Baby-on-the-Way After the devastating Pacific Palisades Fire

Dear friends, family, and supportive community,

As some of you may know, Julie, Shai, their adorable toddler Mia, and their baby-on-the-way have been severely impacted by the destructive Pacific Palisades fire. Just five months ago, they found and purchased their first home—a dream they had worked so hard and so long for, especially in preparation for the arrival of their new baby in March. Tragically, that dream was shattered when the fire completely destroyed their home.

Julie, seven months pregnant, had minutes to flee the fire with only her passport and senior dogs, Tony and Lola, rushing to pick up her daughter from daycare before the fire got to them. In the process, she could not bring with her anything. Though due back at work, she is caring for little Mia, who is also impacted by the fire—her daycare was burned to the ground. These are incredibly challenging times for Shai and Julie, as they navigate finding Mia a daycare and for their family a temporary place to live, and preparing for baby #2 to arrive. So many of you have reached out asking how you can help, so we put this page together to lay it out for all the loved ones in their life.

How You Can Help:

1. We are raising funds to support Julie, Shai, Mia, doggies and baby as they get back on their feet their lives. While the emotional and physical recovery will take time, there are tangible ways we can help now!

Any amount, large or small, will go directly to helping them support their family through this devastating time: renting a temporary place, replacing furniture and other household supplies, wardrobe and essentials for Shai, Julie and Mia, daycare, and so much more.

2. We are also seeking the following second-hand items to help them prepare for baby's arrival in March.
