I’m reaching out on behalf of someone very special—my friend and coworker, Julie.

Julie is currently facing an unexpected and incredibly difficult situation. She co-owns her home with her longtime partner, now ex-boyfriend, who has since left the relationship. While this alone is a major life change, it has also created a complex legal situation involving the home she shares with her two teenage daughters.

Her ex has the financial ability to hire strong legal representation, and unfortunately, that puts Julie at a disadvantage during a time when she is simply trying to protect her home and provide stability for her children.

Julie is a full-time working mom who is deeply involved in her daughters’ lives. She shows up for them every single day—with love, consistency, and strength. While their father does provide support, Julie has been carrying the day-to-day responsibility of maintaining a stable home, and like many families, had come to rely on a two-income household.

Now, she is facing legal expenses that are simply out of reach without help.

This fundraiser is being created to help Julie secure a qualified attorney so she can navigate this situation fairly and protect what matters most—her home and her daughters’ sense of security.

This isn’t about conflict. It’s about making sure Julie has a fair chance and isn’t taken advantage of simply because of financial imbalance.
