My cousin Julie was diagnosed with stage 3a endometrial cancer (a type of uterine cancer) in September of 2021. An independent English tutor, Julie doesn't have a stable income or health insurance to finance her existence and treatments. Due to the effects of radiation and--in the immediate future--chemotherapy, Julie cannot work while undergoing treatment. Her partner Kathy is disabled and cannot work either despite four back surgeries. We're asking for $10,000 to keep Julie and Kathy afloat during this trying time and help ease their stress while Julie recovers. Julie and Kathy are fantastic people: funny, kind, and warm. They deserve to heal and rest together, not worry that they'll end up homeless due to financial ruin.
