Help Julie Modify Home After Severe Injury

My name is Julie Waterson. I am a single mother of 7 kids. Some of my kids are now grown, and I currently have 5 of the 7 living at home. I am a small business owner and a recovery ministry leader.

On Monday, February 24, 2025, I had an accident that caused a lot of trauma to my right foot. I had over 500 pounds of concrete fall onto my right foot, which crushed my foot and ankle. I broke numerous bones. I had ankle fusion in this foot 4 years ago, and that hardware saved me from breaking more bones than I did. I will be off work for the foreseeable future. Due to this injury, not only can I not walk, drive, or work, but I can't get around in my home the way I need to. Modifications will have to be made in order for me to shower/bathe and do normal things at home. My kids will be pitching in to do all the laundry, which is in our basement. I can't get around the issues with not using my bathroom.

This GoFundMe is being set up for the expenses for modifying the bathroom, the medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance, bills, and hopefully a power chair for the stairs.
