- My dear friend Julie has end-stage cirrhosis of the liver. While going to appointments for pre-transplant, her kidneys started to shut down. She is currently in ICU receiving dialysis treatments. Julie is sweet, caring, a mom of two beautiful girls, and the hardest worker I know. She is currently on the list for a liver transplant. She will come home with 15 different medications, and the road to healing is going to be a long one. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
