February 2024 Update:
In February 2022, Julie was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer, leading to six major surgeries, including a double mastectomy and total hysterectomy, until April 2023. During this period, her employer shifted her from a full-time W2 employee to a part-time 1099 contractor to accommodate her medical needs. Julie used credit cards to bridge the income gap and cover medical expenses.
In April 2023, on the Monday after Easter, her employer laid off half the company, reducing Julie's hours to zero immediately. As a contractor, she was ineligible for unemployment. For the next three months, while job hunting, she relied on credit cards and cashed out her 401k for living expenses.
Julie has raised her three children on her own, without financial support and she has worked hard to provide for her family. In July, her former employer got a new project and offered her a part-time position. By October, they were optimistic they could offer her a full-time role in January 2024, which unfortunately fell through. On the Sunday after Thanksgiving 2023, she was informed of her second job loss in the same year.
Julie has shown remarkable strength and courage throughout, facing uncertainties while maintaining a hopeful spirit. The unexpected loss of income during her health battle has added stress. She is actively job hunting during the day and driving for Lyft during every spare moment.
Julie needs our support with medical expenses, daily living costs, and recovery. She has always been a pillar of support for others, and now it's our turn to rally around her. Every donation, big or small, will significantly impact her journey to recover and rebuild. Your words of encouragement are equally valuable.
Let's unite as a community to show Julie the love and support she deserves. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Hi my name is Jan, and I'm asking for anyone who would like to join me in supporting my dear friend Julie, who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Anything contributed would help her greatly, including prayers on her behalf as well!
Julie is such a wonderful mother to three beautiful children. She has always been a giver; she has such a big heart, and always has a smile on her face. She is always going above & beyond to help others, yet understandably, she has a difficult time asking for help for herself & her children.
Which is why I wanted to reach out, and rally for some financial support for Julie and her children, so she can focus on her healing without the added worries of this enormous financial burden. Julie will truly appreciate everyone's help, positivity, prayers, and loving connections during this unexpected and extremely difficult time.
Anyone who knows Julie, knows she's a fighter, and she'll win this fight.
Please find it in your heart to help me show her, and her children, that they are truly loved and are not alone in this devastating fight for her life!
Julie, we got you!❤️
