UPDATE - FRIDAY, MAY 23RD: Julie has been rescued by Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue! She was transferred to a veterinary hospital today for medical testing and observation! JULIE IS VERY SICK AND NEEDS URGENT MEDICAL CARE! Currently at the PG County Maryland Animal Shelter, Julie is very much at risk for euthanasia in the near future. A rescue organization would like to pull her from the shelter, but without the help of donors, that will not happen.

Unwanted and dumped at the shelter by her owner in early May, this emaciated 5-year-old Cane Corso suffers from cherry eyes, swollen toes, a mass on her right front leg, and a serious skin condition. A rescue will need sufficient funds to properly treat her medical concerns. Without these much-needed funds, poor Julie will be euthanized! Please consider helping this sweet girl heal and find a family who will love her unconditionally! The clock is ticking and Julie has very little time left to escape euthanasia!
