JULIES 2nd cancer & tired of it fund

Donation protected

This is Julie. A previous GoFundMe was created at the time of diagnosis and because of the generosity of family and friends she was able to survive fiancially through 6 months of treatment.  An unexpected second surgery had extended the rest of her treatment then another unexpected setback. Pathology came back again showing positive cancer cells in her right axilla. A  PET scan is next to see if the cancer has gone anywhere else and depending on the results she will endure either another surgery or start chemotherapy again. Julie is having a difficult time and her financial worries have all come back. We’re hoping to raise money now to get her through the unknown and allow her to focus on wellness and not fighting to survive financially.

On July 24th, Julie was diagnosed for the second time with breast cancer. She’s been fighting triple positive aggressive cancer since July. Her first battle began on December 14th, 2009 when she bravely opted for a bilateral mastectomy, 4 months of chemotherapy, and an oopharectomy. Over the past 8 years she's had several surgeries as well as yearly maintenance  of mammograms. She won her battle against cancer and last Dec 14 she was looking forward to celebrating 9 yrs cancer free.

All this changed on July 24th when she was diagnosed for the second time an aggressive HER2 positive cancer. Her work as a private caregiver completely halted due to the diagnosis. In august she started 12 weekly doses of chemotherapy that she finished on Nov 29th, along with an adjuvant drug therapy of Herceptin and Perjeta which she will continue every 3 weeks for a total of 1 year. After each chemo infusion Julie returned to the hospital for 2 days of a Neupogen injection to stimulate her white blood cells.  She had her first surgery on Jan 14th 2019 to remove the tumor. A few days after surgery pathology reports came back that the tumor was larger than they thought and things took a surprising turn.

Julie is the most selfless person. She is a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter, a friend and so much more to those who know her. Please take a moment to consider donating to help her fight this cancer which is knocking her hard. No  contribution is too small to make a difference.  She is truly grateful for your support and we thank you too
