Help Julie and Kids Rebuild After Tony's Passing
Donation protected
My dear friend Julie Malone lost her husband Tony Malone on Tuesday morning after the winds started howling. As Los Angeles was on fire and burning, Julie sat in the smoke trying to get contractors and people to help clean up the destruction the winds had left at her home exhausting her emotionally and financially.
Julie and Tony had been married for almost 20 years and were still madly in love with 2 children. Tony was an amazing father to Tucker and Clementine. He was the most awesome stay at home dad, that we all got to know on play dates and park trips and outings. Tony was known for his unique musicianship and wonderful smile. He was fiercly loyal and protective of his family. Not only a musician and an artist, but a cook, and a friend, he was so many things that are so so very deeply missed by his family right now. So many people have lost homes this week and all of their posessions, but Julie lost her partner, her support, her team member, and the love of her life. Her kids lost their role model, their teacher, their guide and their rock to hold them. I cannot imagine how lost she feels trying to navigate all of this hard stuff while our city is suffering. I know money will not replace everything Tony was, but it could really help the family negotiate the future, paying for funeral expenses, grief support, and a life time of childcare and expenses that Julie will now have to shoullder alone.
Can you please help me in supporting them? They need meals, and calls, invitations, and support. If you can donate, please do, or share this post so others can also help. Thank you so much !!
