During spring break, I fell and broke my pelvis, and I have been hospitalized since then. Just one week later, my husband Michael had hip replacement surgery. The day after Michael's surgery, our 2-year-old son Maxwell was brought to the emergency room with what we thought was a stomach bug. After being hospitalized and many tests, it was discovered that Maxwell had a twisted intestine and he was operated on. He is recovering, but we're not sure how much longer he will be in the hospital.

These are all expensive procedures with multiple nights in the hospital. Michael and I will both be out of work without pay for a lengthy amount of time while we recover. The funds raised here will help cover hospital bills and loss of income from being unable to work.
