Julianna is a fun loving girl with a bright smile. On January 24, Julianna’s life was changed forever by a devastating head-on collision on Highway 299. On what was supposed to be a fun trip with her friends, it turned into a nightmare. A drunk driver crossed into her lane and struck her vehicle. There were five people in the car and Julianna was the only survivor.

Julianna is a mother to a six-and-half-month-old baby. In the crash, she lost three of her closest friends and her boyfriend. They were trapped inside the vehicle for nearly an hour before emergency crews could reach them. She never lost consciousness and remembers everything... the collision, the sights and sounds of the aftermath and was fully aware as the friends she loved passed away beside her.

Due to the remote location of the crash and the severity of her injuries, Julianna was life-flighted twice-first, to the nearest hospital, and then transferred by air to the trauma center at UC Davis. Where she is currently receiving care. Her family lives in Shasta County, and will need to stay near the hospital while she remains hospitalized far from home.

She sustained catastrophic injuries. Every limb in her body was broken, along with multiple ribs and her back. She faces numerous surgeries, a prolonged hospital stay, and extensive rehabilitation. Her recovery will take months, if not years.

Beyond the physical pain, Julianna is enduring unimaginable emotional and psychological trauma. She is grieving profound loss while fighting to heal.

The fundraiser will help ease the overwhelming financial burden facing Julianna and her family, including medical expenses, surgeries, rehabilitation, long-term care, counseling, travel costs, and basic living expenses, so they can focus on supporting her recovery and caring for her child.
