Our son, Julian De Melo, has the opportunity of a lifetime to train with one of the best soccer academies in the world. He has been selected to go to Portugal to train with the S.L. Benfica Academy on August 27th -September 4th, 2025. He has been playing soccer since he was 5 and competitively with PV United since he was 8. He is now 11 years old and has worked really hard to improve his speed and skills on the field. He is not only a great soccer player, but he also has great sportsmanship and his positive attitude both on and off the field is infectious. He not only strives to excel at soccer, but he is an exceptional student in the 6th grade at Rio Del Mar Elementary School. He is a kind-hearted kid who is dedicated to everything that he does, and he is always willing to help in any way that he can. To be able to attend this camp along with all of the wonderful experiences that will go along with it would mean everything to him and make a lasting impression on his young life.
