Hi, my name is Angela, and I’m a single mother raising money for my son Julian, who is fighting a life-threatening brain tumor called. Craniopharyngioma 1 in a million young people are affected by this tumor that grows directly from the pituitary gland . Julian is a 28-year-old aspiring voice actor with a bright and outgoing personality. He loves making people laugh and has a passion for film and education. Sadly he has not received the life saving medical treatment and care he NEEDS to
Manage his severe condition in almost 2 years due to lack of ability financially .
Julian was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March of 2009, when he was living in his home country of Canada. He, his younger sister, and I moved to the United States for marriage that unfortunately did not work . He had medical coverage during the marriage however sense has not , and keeps being denied services such as Medicaid and disability . He underwent 3 extensive brain surgeries to remove the tumors mass and 36 radiation treatments to help it remain at bay. However, the tumor left him with a vision impairment that makes him legally blind. 87% total blindness. And medically dependent on testosterone, thyroid medication, Cortizone dependent, as well as desmopressin tablet, and spray a rare illness, caused by his tumor, called diabetes, insipidus
-A disorder of salt and water metabolism marked by intense thirst and heavy urination.
Diabetes insipidus occurs when the body can't regulate how it handles fluids. The condition is caused by a hormonal abnormality and isn't related to diabetes.
Very rare
Fewer than 20,000 US cases per year

Unfortunately, Julian does not have US citizenship he is a permanent legal resident however ,but has no health insurance and is constantly denied coverage, disability, and Medicare He cannot afford the regular check-ups and medications that he needs to keep his tumor under control. Without proper medical care, there is a high risk that the tumor will return and cause more damage to his brain and his life. Julian has been without the life-saving medication. He requires for his desmopressin, and his testosterone, and at age of 28 his body maturity level as a 12 /14 year old male .

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Julian who needs approximately $60,000 to cover his medical expenses for the next year, his prescriptions alone, cost about half of that (26,000$). Extensive lab work and imaging , his transportation to receive said care, his neurologist, office, endocrinology, office, contrast, dye MRIs and imaging required ,his citizenship. In order to finally receive the help we desperately need on his own.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference for him and his family. Your generosity will help him get the care he deserves and pursue his dreams of becoming a father and healthy again.
