My name is Julian Ochoa and everything got real hard about 2 weeks ago. I was working out in the morning, doing some farmers walks around my apartment complex. There was a raised crack in the sidewalk and I tripped on it. I didn't think I fell hard until I couldn't stand up. My leg was in an extreme amount of pain and I couldn't move. A neighbor from a building over was walking her dog and saw me fall. She was sweet enough to get her car and help me back to my apartment. I still couldn't move without screaming in pain so I called an ambulance.

As soon as I got to the hospital and got x-rayed I was told my hip was dislocated and fractured. My pelvis was also fractured. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks and my surgery was 4 hours long. The surgeons told me that my pelvis was in pieces and it took 12 screws and 2 metal plates.

My work put me on unpaid leave and I can only walk with the use of a walker. Maybe this is tmi but, even taking a poop has turned into a painful experience. I'm scared I'm going to be evicted for not paying rent and my hospital bills are well...a lot. I really need some help. I don't like asking for help but I need it. I don't know what else to do and I just want to be okay.
