Julian is my son, and he has faced more challenges in his young life than most people do in a lifetime. At just three years old, Julian lost the use of his hands due to a neurological disorder that affects both his hands and his feet. This condition has taken away the simple joys of childhood—playing outside, joining his friends, and exploring the world with curiosity and excitement. As he’s grown, Julian has slowly realized that many of the things we take for granted—living independently, driving a car, or even making his own food—may never be possible for him. Despite these challenges, Julian has always had a love for life and a grateful spirit. He dreams of regaining some of the independence that his condition has taken from him. That’s why I am reaching out for help. We are hoping to raise funds to purchase an exoskeleton for Julian’s legs. This incredible device would allow him to walk without having to hold onto walls and even climb steps to enter our home by himself.
