Help Julian Brown Fight a Rare Spinal Cord Tumor

For those who don’t know, Julian also known as (Lil Man, JB or Little ) has been suffering from a rare spinal cord tumor, an Intramedullary tumor that has a cavernomas venous malformation around it. Neurosurgeons have said his case is 1/300k. Due to this occurrence he is now experiencing stroke like symptoms such as the inability to walk and severe nerve pains.

Although in great spirits, he is now tasked with a substantial amount of rehabilitation with hopes of a road to full recovery.

On February 16, 2023, Julian experienced numbness in his left leg and foot. Julian decided to visit a physician. The immediate care facility thought the pain may have been a side effect of diabetes thus, sending Julian home with more pain meds. Over 48 hours Julian began to feel excruciating pain in both legs and lower extremities so, he visited the local Emergency Department. Due to the severity of Julian’s diagnosis, he was transferred by ambulance to a specialty hospital 50 minutes from Baltimore, MD.

Julian is an incredible father, grandfather, mentor and role model not only to those close to him but also children, adults and athletes of Baltimore City and surrounding counties.

Due to this unforeseen setback his absence in the community will be greatly felt, especially by those who he services daily as a Mental Health Community Liaison in Baltimore.

He is limited in his ability to work which has caused a financial strain. While currently, he is unable to be himself, he is determined to fight these major health challenges and get back to the Julian we all know and love.

The donations from this GoFundMe will help him with the medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and loss of income associated with Julian’s recovery.
