Help Julia Save Her Business and Heal

As a friend of Julia for over 25 years, I am asking for your assistance to help this wonderful woman and her family.

Julia was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2024 and had a partial mastectomy on March 4, 2024. It required 8 weeks of recovery time, followed by treatment. Unfortunately, despite the partial mastectomy, the cancer still appeared in pathology reports and more aggressive treatment was required. She had a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction one week ago, on July 8, 2024 which will require an 8 week recovery.

Julia is an animal lover, and her profession has been focused on her business, Spot On K9 Sports for the past 17 years. As the most experienced instructor who normally teaches 20 classes per week, and provides in-home training to clients for approximately 6 hours per week, she was the primary income producer for Spot On K9 Sports. However, due to her illness, she has been unable to work, and as a result, she is unable to pay her work related bills, such as rent, in addition to not receiving her regular income. As you can imagine, this is a stressful situation at a time when Julia needs to focus on her treatment and healing. Julia is worried about losing her business due to non-payment of rent.

As you can imagine, this unexpected illness over the past six months has taken a financial toll on her business and emotional toll on her family. Her son is 10 years old and is having a particularly tough time.

Julia is doing everything in her power to fight and come back to work as soon as she can. Julia is one of the strongest women I know, and I know she will beat this. She just needs help to keep her business and cover her bills until she is completely recovered.
