Help Julia regain her health!

I've have been a close friend of Julia's since preschool which, if you also know her, means I have watched her struggle with a long history of autoimmune related issues (lupus, RA, Sjorens and long standing activated Epstein Barr). In 2016 her health took a major downturn with trigeminal neuropathy, and as of late she has been struggling to do the most mundane of tasks, not to mention she can no longer work, care for her daughter or live any semblance of a pain free life. She has exhausted allopathic medical interventions (of which the list is astounding) that have created lasting nerve damage to her face and head, doing more harm than good. At this juncture she is making the decision to try an alternative path and has been accepted into a program at CHIPSA Hospital in Mexico https://chipsahospital.org/ , originally known for treating late stage cancer by strengthening the immune system through diet and integrative wellness measures (which includes stem cell treatment). They are now expanding their program to include those with autoimmune diseases. They have prescribed her a two week stay in August, which costs $22,000 and does not include a place to stay.

 

Please know that asking for help has been very hard for them to do, and Julia and Cal are committed to financing this in any way possible, as this is a last ditch effort to return some sort of functionality to her everyday life, allowing her to be the mother, wife, therapist and friend we all miss. If you are unable to help financially as we understand times are tough for many right now, know that Julia is there for any love, hope or prayers you have to offer!
