Help Julia recover from this terrible accident

Dear Friends & Family,

Hi my name is Alessandra and I am writing this on behalf of my good friend Julia Vera. On Oct 21st she had a horrible accident at home. Julia suffered second degree burns to her eyes, face, hands and legs. At this time she is admitted to The Burn Unit in Staten Island University. Julia is remaining positive but unfortunately due to the severity of this accident she will need to be out of work for a period of time that is unknown. We have no idea what the cost of her care will be, or what kind of treatments she will require during this time. I am organizing this GoFundMe in hopes to raise any donations that will help cover the expenses she will face . Some of you may already know but for the people that may not, Julia isn't just a good friend, she is a full time mother to a wonderful son. She is a kind, warm hearted, hardworking and responsible person. She has been a frontline worker and worked extremely long hours in a Emergency Department in Brooklyn during the entire Covid-19 pandemic.
