On February 8th, 2021 Julia  was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has completely spread to all major parts of her body!  The phone call today with the news was a complete shock, because originally she was told it was salivary duct carcinoma and it would be an easy fight!  But we all know how strong Julia is and she will fight this horrible disease like crazy to beat it!  

For those of you that know Julia, know that she is an extraordinary mother and wife! Her husband Nathan was in a horrible accident in 2018 and they moved here from Vegas to seek the best care for Nathan. Julia has been the main caretaker and she’s also continued raising Jenna. Jenna is now junior in high school this year. Her siblings also moved here to help Jonathon and Jordan. 

Julia will start intense chem right away in The Woodlands. ( I will update you when I know more) 

On behalf of the Hamby family, I am asking for your help. The funds raised will help cover extra medical expenses, travel back and forth to chemo treatments, parking, food, and hiring extra help to care for Nathan. 

I will continue to provide updates weekly from the family.
