Julia has been involved in the arts for as long as she can remember and it is something she has practiced and trained in her whole life. At the beginning of her freshman year of high school, Julia discovered her love for theatre teching, stage design, directing, stage managing, etc... and decided that is what she wants to do with the rest her life! Julia participates and learns about theatre tech in every way she can but feels like she doesn't have the resources nearby to really master all of the aspects of it and nothing beats the real thing. In the past month, Julia was accepted into a summer training program at New York University Tisch for Production & Design, this is an amazing once in a lifetime  opportunity for her where she gets to spend 4 weeks in New York taking classes at NYU with their professors and guest artists, seeing Broadway shows, and is also given 6 college credits for completion of the program! We want to make this happen because this will open up many doors for her future like future college scholarships, job opportunities, and will give her many connections in this career which is important in the theatre community! We are so proud of Julia and this accomplishment (even just getting in is a big deal!) But, as you'd expect it costs an arm and a leg to send her there so, if you could please consider donating even just $10 to help Julia on this journey it would be greatly appreciated especially because we were not offered a scholarship for this program.
