Help Julia Get Back Up on Her Feet!

I'm Julia Madeson-Ardon. Before taking a head-first fall in March 2019, I had been the Department Coordinator in the guitar department at Berklee College of Music for 15 years, diligently saving for retirement. I'm also a singer, songwriter and playwright. But for the past two years, I've been incapacitated by terribly arthritic knees that require titanium knee replacement surgery. In the meantime, my daily care is costing $300-500/day above what my health insurance pays. None of the retirement savings advice I followed for years accounted for this type of expense. I never expected to find myself in this position, having run through my savings. I'm asking for your help to pay for the people who assist me with daily tasks until I can get the knee surgery I need. As a kid, I studied jazz, tap and ballet. In the 2000s, I danced in the musicals Nine and The New Moon. I'm ready to be up on my feet, working and dancing again.
