I'm reaching out to ask for your generous support for my dear friend, Julia. She urgently needs funds for medical treatment, including immunotherapy. Unfortunately, the only treatment available is not funded under the PBS for her rare form of cancer. She is currently waiting for the drug company to provide a compassionate supply of Cabozantinib (which will cost 10k a month if this does not occur). However, she will have to self-fund immunotherapy and the cost of this treatment alone will be up to a staggering 70k.

Julia received a diagnosis of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma late last year. She successfully recovered from surgery to remove a 17cm tumor and her kidney. Within the last few weeks, she has learned that the cancer has returned and metastasized to her lungs and liver, with the only available treatment not covered on the PBS. With your support, we can assist Julia with funding treatment and enabling the best possible outcome.
