Hello! My name is Julia, and I am a current member of the United Percussion 2 cymbal line. Every weekend since January, I have been traveling from my school in Massachusetts to New Jersey to attend rehearsals and competitions for the group. We have put together an amazing show this year! Even though I've only been playing the cymbals for a little over a year, I have been in band since I was little and it is an activity that has given me so much. Joining UP2 has gifted me with experiences, skills, and friends that I could not find anywhere else, and I am so grateful for it.

Unfortunately, though, it is not cheap. I will have to pay in order to attend world championships in Dayton, Ohio in April, as well as the uniform fee, food and gas for when I travel to rehearsal, and others. This is a lot on top of what I already pay for. Any amount donated would help me fulfill these payments, and continue to participate in something I've grown such a passion for.
