Hi everyone! This summer I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Costa Rica as part of a service-focused youth program, and I’m asking for your help to make it possible. During this three-week experience, I’ll be working with a group of other students to help build a school in a local community that truly needs it.

This trip is more than just a vacation, as we’ll be learning how to plan, build, and work together to create something lasting and meaningful for the people there. Aside from the construction work, we’ll also spend time connecting with local church members and families, building relationships and learning directly from the community. Some of the things I’m especially excited about are the opportunities to learn more about Costa Rican culture and improve my Spanish by speaking with native speakers every day. I plan to continue studying Spanish in college, and I know this experience will be beneficial to me.
