Help Julia and Vladyslav depart Ukraine
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tetyana. I am a Ukrainian-American citizen living in the Annapolis, MD area. I am hosting my niece, Julia, and her 11-year-old son Vladyslav (my grandnephew) as they depart Ukraine and seek refuge with us in the United States.
As the conflict and violence continue in Ukraine, the emotional well-being of so many Ukrainians like Julia has been hurt. Her life's work is as a music teacher and a singer for events in her town. However, due to the stress brought upon her, being affected directly and indirectly by every assault on her nation, she struggles to find her voice, and instead, she has just tears.
Ultimately, concern for her young son's safety and future has caused her the most significant worry.
They are both two beautiful souls who deserve to live, work, and go to school daily without hearing sirens and warnings of bombs in her town, and in the U.S. we can provide them the room & board and general support needed for them to sustain as a family in a place of peace and love.
We would kindly ask for donations to support their travel needs as they come to America for the first time later this month. Our initial goal of $2,000 will cover the cost of airfare from Ukraine to the United States.
We thank everybody for their love and support.
