Last night, a laundromat fire spread into Julia’s NYC apartment and she lost everything. She is safe, but her entire home and all of her belongings are gone — clothes, essentials, documents, furniture, all of it.

If you know her, you know she isn’t the type to ask for help. But starting over in New York is expensive, and the basics alone add up fast: replacing clothes and toiletries, finding temporary housing, paying for a new apartment deposit, and getting even the simplest furniture again.
